Mark and I drove up to Salt Lake City on Wednesday the 4th. Brian's Mom turned 60 and Bill surprised her with a party at the Grand America Hotel. He had invited 45 friends and family for an evening of dinner, fun and chitty chat. They could choose between filet mignon, salmon, chicken with a Caesar salad. He had the hotel make a huge chocolate cake as well! We watched Ethan, Aspen & Carli so they could attend the celebration. They are such cute kids!
Mark and I went to Ethan and Aspen's school for a Devotional. Aspen's class did a poetry presentation. We were unaware that Ethan had "fainted" .....then fell and hit the back of his head. All of our phones were turned off for the program.....the school had tried to call Camille and Brian....he was carried out of the program by the Headmaster...we had no idea that something had happened to Ethan. Well, he had a fever....Camille said he had mentioned that morning that he was tired but...that's all. He was sick on Saturday....we thought maybe his fever might stall the Baptism...but his fever was gone Sunday Morning....he still looked pretty pale and weak.
Ethan was baptized Sunday night..Aspen sang a solo with Christena (Brian's Mom) playing the piano. She looked a little nervous at first then she started singing while looking at Camille the whole time...talk about a Kodak moment! Mark gave a talk. He did a great job! Camille had fixed chicken sandwiches, salad & pumpkin pie! It was a fun evening!
