Palisades State Park, Sterling, UT

Well, we met Duane and Linda here this weekend. When Mark made the reservations the only thing left was for "dry camping". Well, let me explain "dry camping". This means no electricity, no water, or sewer hookup. Well, Mark & Duane said we would be fine because we both have generators. We would both have enough water, etc. The frig would run off the propane tanks. Linda and Duane have a really nice 5Th wheel. It has two couches, plus dinette & kitchen, bath & queen size bed. We have the motor home we bought last November and drove it home from New Hampshire. We both have awnings...so we thought we could open both of these. Linda and Duane have a cute Shih Tzu name Macie. We both hoped the three dogs would get along with each other...well I think Heidi's Molly chewed our dogs tails so much that well...lets just say they are not very patient or nice with some dogs....puppies! We had to watch naughty Pepsi around Macie.
Well, when Duane & Linda got here their generator worked...then it stopped working. Well we tried to get ours started....NOPE it wouldn't start. I am already sweating....it's around 100 degrees here. Well, Duane can fix or repair ANYTHING! Mark & Duane couldn't get the darn thing started. Hmmmmmmm..Duane was very optimistic....he kept saying we're still working on it. Well, lunch and dinner passed....IT WON"T START! Okay.....we went to sleep with all the windows open. TWO words: Hot & Sweaty....

  1. Was anything nice about the park? If not, I won't be going there in our little tent trailer which has NO air conditioning.
