Mark's brother, Ted

Mark's brother Ted is not doing very well at all. His wife, Jean has reconciled that Ted is not going to make it this time. His kidneys have shut down again. His body can't fight the infection anymore. The doctors said it's pretty grim right now. One of Ted's toes is totally black. The doctor said he is so full of infection that the toe will just wither and fall off. The family has almost lost him half dozen times before.... Jean said she can't even watch him for very long. Ted just stares off into space....he is so sick. He can't breathe on his own....he is a fighter.....but the family realizes he isn't going to make this time. Jean has never shown a lot of emotion before now....she just wanted him to come home. Jean is having a really tough time. Mark and his siblings are having a tough time talking about it. He will be the first sibling to die......it's hard for me to see Mark crying right now. I am glad he went to see Ted when we were up in SLC about ten days ago.
