Ted-Mark's Brother

Today is a very sad day for Mark's family. Ted's family was told that Ted is now in a vegetative state. Jean had expressed that he seemed to being looking off into space. She felt he didn't even know she was there when she would visit him the last few days. Ted's family made the decision that they would remove all the medications, food and oxygen that has kept him alive the last 6 or so weeks this morning. His immediate family, children, grand kids, etc. had yesterday to say their goodbyes. His toes are turning black from lack of oxygen and from infection. His kidneys have shut down and his body has started to swell. He was a fighter to the very end. Jean just wanted to bring him home......our hearts go out to each of their family members.
